Cheeki’s thongs are made by a single piece mould. Being a one-piece design, it eliminates construction weakness. Traditional thongs are made with two pieces resulting in the old”blow out” where the straps get pulled out of the sole. The material is a specialised closed-cell foam or EVA. EVA is found in many different products and it’s perfect for thongs! It has a “rubber-like” properties but is durable, great shock absorber and is non-toxic.
